Green Risotto / Burger Wrapped In Grape Leaves / Crab Innards

Blog Post & Recipe: Mrs Kennedy's Green Risotto

It's a simple risotto flavoured with puréed spinach. The latter turns it a lovely, vivid green colour.

Recipe: Burger Wrapped In Grape Leaves

The grape leaves provide the tangy taste that enhances the meat flavor. It is up to you to use any meat of your choice, minced lamb or beef mixed with parsley and onions, salt, black pepper and allspice

Blog Post & Recipe: The Nasty Bits: Crab Innards

Like the crab meat itself, the taste of what is inside varies depending on the type of crab. On blue claws the innards taste somewhat like caviar; on Dungeness, they are more abundant and custardy in texture, with a sweetness that reminds me of sea urchin.

Blog Post & Recipe: Wasabi Smashed Potatoes

Did you know that the bright green wasabi paste that you get of all Japanese restaurants is really horseradish with food coloring? Yeah. Don’t you feel duped? Real wasabi is pretty expensive and difficult to grow outside of Japan.

Blog Post & Recipe: helping to solve the dinner dilemma

Just as you power down your computer and begin to face the commute home, your thoughts turn to the eternal question - ‘What should we have for dinner?’ And inspiration just doesn’t strike. I hate when that happens.

Crab. Fourth of July Recipes.

Article/Recipe: Time to get cracking.
The article is accompanied by recipes for messy crab (chili-flavoured), and marinated strawberries.

Crab's deep flavour - it is often the very essence of the sea from which it came - is not easily hidden by hot, sharp or even spicy seasonings. If anything, they make the flavour more potent. Which is why only a few minutes ago it was sizzling in the wok with hot red chillies, fresh ginger and a splash of Vietnamese chilli sauce.

Article/Recipe: All-American favorite recipes for Fourth of July.

Recipes for baked beans, potato salad, and so on.

The Fourth of July is not a time for creating shocking new dishes. It is a time when people hanker instead for All-American favorites - hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, corn on the cob, ice cream.
